With the aim of identifying every institution and carrying out their effective planning and monitoring, the Government of Rajasthan has introduced one of the eGov products and services named Sanstha Aadhaar.
The unique identifier of 16 digits, commonly known as the Sanstha Aadhaar Number (SAN) is issued by the Sanstha Aadhaar system through the online portal. To apply for the Sanstha Aadhar Number Registration visit the official website https://br.raj.nic.in/br/. The process of applying for SAN registration is easy and free of cost.
What are the benefits of Sanstha Aadhaar Number?
Rajasthan Government has taken a remarkable initiative to encourage all, large and small, businesses by issuing Sanstha Aadhaar Number. It offers the following benefits:
- Check on economic activities: It has been easy for the state government to monitor institutional activities based on the details of existing and new institutions. These details are captured by the Sanstha Aadhaar system.
- Legal acceptance of institutions and business establishments: The entry of institutions in the database of Sanstha Aadhaar system requires them to abide by laws and regulatory framework. This reduces the chances of legal fines and penalties associated with unauthenticated business operations.
- Enhances business creditability: Business organisations with SAN are considered more reliable than those without SAN. The increased reliability aids in conducting business, and arranging business finance and supplies, smoothly. With the introduction of SAN by the Rajasthan Government, a reduction in the number of business frauds is expected in the state.
- Eligibility for government grants and services: The establishments having the SAN can only apply for government grants and services. Moreover, to obtain a TIN (Tax identification number) for a business such as GSTIN or EIN, the SAN registration is a prerequisite. Institutions need the SAN to apply for business loans. Who should have a Sanstha Aadhaar Number?
It is essential for all institutions in Rajasthan to get the Sanstha Aadhar Number. These institutions include:
- All state and central government departments that have set up offices in Rajasthan.
- All industries and corporations operating in Rajasthan.
- NGOs (Non-government organisations).
- Autonomous bodies (semi-government institutions) like LIC, Banks, having offices in Rajasthan.
- Private firms conducting business operations in Rajasthan.
How many days does it take to get the Sanstha Aadhaar Number?
Remember, the online application is the only way to get the Sanstha Aadhaar Number. No physical applications and manual interventions are accepted.
The SAN will be issued in no time to the applicant using Aadhaar/Jan Aadhaar Number. However, in the case of other ID proofs such as PAN Card, Ration Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, Pass Port, the processing time may vary. What are the Documents required for registering Sanstha Aadhaar Number?
The list of documents required for applying for the Sanstha Aadhaar Number is not much different from registering for other eGovt products and services. So, the applicants should keep the following documents handy while registering SAN:
- Identity proof of owner/nodal officer/applicant. It includes an Aadhaar card, Jan Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, Driving license, Ration Card, Voter ID.
- Applicant’s signature
- Business address proof. It generally includes electricity bills.
- Bank statement of business
- Applicant’s passport-size photo
All the details to be provided correctly. The size of uploading a passport-size photo and signature is mentioned in online instructions to apply for Sanstha Aadhaar Number. Hence, all instructions should be read carefully before applying and adhered to.
After completing the process of registering SAN, the SAN certificate is issued to the applicant in due time. Along with the 16-digit number unique ID, the SAN certificate includes the name of the applicant and institution, business activity and address, Applicable Registration Act, and registration date.
